Rome

May 27, Sunday 2007 - This is our first full day here. I am still a little congested. To everyones surprise the taxi man was there waiting for us at the airport. Our flight out of London was an hour delayed. We had a lot of trouble using the phones here. We tried to call the people about the apartment, but couldn't figure it out. Even more of a surprise was that the renter was here last night around midnight to let us in. Our flights were very long. We had a 3 hr. lay over in London. We never left the airport. I had a salad in the airport at a place called Giraffe. Lisa and Michelle split the brunch special. Paul had a club, but the bacon was different. We were all very tired. The taxi man drove very fast. Supposed to take an hour, probably took about 30 minutes. It was 500 Euro for the apartment for 3 days. This morning Michelle and I went to get breakfast for everyone. I was very tired and sweaty after the walk. It is very humid here. I think I needed some water. We got 4 1.5 liter bottles 3 croissants and one chocolate chip croissant for Michelle. Lisa shared with Michelle.
